Pathaan Shocks Box Office with ₹52 crore Day 4 Collection in India, Totals ₹212 crore

The film Pathaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, has been breaking records at the box office since its release. On its opening day in India, the film earned ₹57 crore nett, and on its fourth day, it reportedly minted more than ₹50 crore nett. This follows a strong showing on Friday, where the film earned ₹37.5 crore nett. The Hindi version of the film saw a 40 percent increase on Saturday, with early estimates putting its earnings at ₹52 crore nett.
Directed by Siddharth Anand and released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages, Pathaan also features Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Ashutosh Rana and Dimple Kapadia. The action film, which is backed by Yash Raj Films, also includes a special appearance by actor Salman Khan.

In just four days, Pathaan has crossed the ₹200 crore nett-mark, taking its total to ₹212 crore nett at the domestic box office. This makes it the fastest Hindi film to enter the ₹200 crore-club. Trade analyst Taran Adrash has stated that Pathaan is “truly rewriting record books.”
Many celebrities, including Anushka Sharma, Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar, have reacted to the film’s box office success. Karan Johar said on Instagram Stories that “love forever trumps hate” in reference to the film’s record-breaking collection. Anushka Sharma praised Shah Rukh Khan on Instagram Stories, writing “Such huge numbers and mega opening, breaking box office records.” Janhvi Kapoor also praised the film, stating on Instagram Stories “Thank you for reminding everyone of the magic and glory of Bollywood again.”
Pathaan marks Shah Rukh’s comeback as an actor in a lead role after Zero (2018). The film’s success has caused it to overtaken the Hindi versions of KGF: Chapter 2 and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, and it is the fastest to enter the ₹200 crore club. Overall, Pathaan’s box office collections have been impressive, with the film entertaining and awestrucking audiences.
